We support young people to discover talents, interests and values that not only prepare them for further education, but which stay with them for life. The end century has seen many developments at St Leonard's College, but through all this growth and change one thing has remained consistent: our unwavering commitment to providing our students with an education for life. Our programs, in and out of the classroom, are designed to flourish the entire person head, heart and soul and to yield each individual student with the skills and personal qualities they need to be the superior they can be. We are proud of our rich history, and the legacy created by those who have gone prior gives us cause to look to the coming with hope and confidence. We bear all students with an education for life. Each year we publish a number of communications to retain members of the College community abreast of our developments and achievements.

The St Leonard’s College Scholarship Program aims to recognize and urge students to make a strong and sure contribution to their future, to the life of St Leonard’s College and to the lives of others. Sport plays an important role in the life of a St Leonard’s College student. Students from years 5 to 12 have the opportunity to perform in musicals and plays and get involved in the behindthescenes aspects of production. Community is the cornerstone of St Leonard’s College both our own College community and the wider local, national and international community. The House system is an imperative part of College life. Furthermore, the House system offers students a plethora of opportunities to seek positions of leadership in sport, performing arts and other co curricular pursuits. Participation in these programs provides students with lifelong friendships and memories, as healthy as developing independence and resilience, and challenging students to consider what it means to live as members of a global community. Our programs for students in Senior School promote the thriving transition of our students into the world beyond our school gates. Reggie Emilia also emphasizes the importance of the physical learning environment to motivate inquiry, and the center itself is architecturally designed to inspire creativity, exploration and curiosity in young children. Our highly competent staff encourage a setting where children begin to thrive the skills and qualities necessary to become lifelong learners, and bear a wealthy environment for social, intellectual and physical development. The AB PCP is also taught in our Premature Learning center and shares many of the fundamental principles of the Reggie approach, facilitating a smooth transition for children into our Junior School. The Fawkes Sports center is home to our center of Sporting Excellence, and provides our community with space and facilities in which to engage in a range of physical and recreational pursuits.
