We are a different group of people with a powerful commitment to studying God’s Word in order to grow in our knowledge and enjoyment of Him who created and saved us. Brian had come to Australia as a boy with his parents in 1952. In 1998 he took up a job give in Australia and settled his family in Melbourne and at Noble Park Evangelical Baptist Church, where he now serves as an elder, while tranquil working for an IT company. Nelson was born in Melbourne in 1969 and lived in Australia until 1980, when he and his family emigrated to Vancouver, Canada. He had heard the good news of God’s grace while growing up in his parent’s Christian home, and it was at Daybreak Point Bible Camp on Anvil Island where he met the Lord and was saved in 1982. Nelson also met his coming wife, Heather, at the equivalent Bible camp, and they were married in 1993. Nelson and Heather fellow shipped in the Originate Brethren Assemblies throughout their teen and hasty married years. Nelson attended Melbourne School of Theology part time over five years, completing a Bachelor of Theology, and in 2017 enrolled as a part time student in an M.A. Their greatest purpose is to obey, worship and love God. As a result of the fall of our first parents, every aspect of human nature has been corrupted and all men and women are without spiritual life, guilty sinners and antagonistic to God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life in obedience to the Father. It has been accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ and is offered to all in the gospel. God in His love forgives sinners whom He calls, granting them repentance and faith. All who trust in Christ are justified by faith alone, adopted into the family of God and take perpetual life. THE CHURCH The universal Church is the body of which Christ is the head and to which all who are saved belong. It is made visible in local churches, which are congregations of believers who are committed to each other for the worship of God, the preaching of the Word, the administering of Baptism and the Lord's Supper for pastoral care and discipline, and for evangelism. True fellowship between churches exists only where they are faithful to the gospel. He will elevate the deceased and judge the world in righteousness. Behind completing his Bachelor of Theology he was motivated to address the growing Biblical illiteracy in our culture and share his passion for the Bible’s message. From 1990 inwards McConaghy and Ratanak partnered on projects that built clinics, hospitals and schools, opened orphanages, provided shelters for the elderly and AIDS victims and ran and initiated emergency food distribution programs in response to droughts and flooding in Cambodia. He lives in Vancouver with his wife and two children, both adopted from Cambodia. Young people begin attending the program when they begin lesser school. Our church supports a number of ministries in various places around the world.
