Our pizza bases are just like the pizzas of yesteryear- fluffy yet crunchy at the same time. You haven't eaten pizza like this for years. you will be pleased that you did. Warning, be prepared for a taste bud time warp. Give us a burl. However time limits me, and I would like to leave something to the imagination of our dear customers. I could continue as our products are that great I could go on for hours. These little potato clouds melt in your mouth, and my goodness, you will come back for more. I hated gnocchi until I tasted what real gnocchi was meant to be. Now, I can not order it anywhere else for fear of being fed the concrete blocks I would receive, even at fine dine restaurants. Don't even start me on the gnocchi, my personal favourite. Just try it if you don't believe me. You will NOT be disappointed- until of course your plate is empty. A bolognese that has been simmered for hours, pasta sheets that have been handmade, just as it should be. And finally, handrolled and cooked until they are perfect pillows between the sheets of meat & bechamel. Bechamel sauce that is baked on the top layer. Needless to say the lasagna is the best you could order from any pizza cafe this side of Melbourne. The tortellini have each been filled with a delightful chicken & basil mousse. The fillings are not bought in, our ravioli is filled with a braised beef, that has been cooked for 8 hours prior to cooling & filling the insides of the pasta parcels. Pasta is made in house, but created from eggs & flour, not just cooked in house, like the old women in Italy. We offer a choice of thin base or deep pan. Dough is always fresh daily. (more).
